October 5 - 13, 2024 - Join the Bartlett Area Chamber and guests as we visit Switzerland.
Day 1 – O'Hare International Airport/Zurich
Check in at Chicago (ORD) for a connection flight for Zurich. Cross the International Date Line.
Day 2 – Zurich
Change the connection flight and arrive at Zurich, the largest city of Switzerland. You will be met at the airport by your tour guide and transferred to the hotel.
Day 3 – Zurich
Full day city tour and sightseeing include the Grossmunster Church, Urania Sternwarte, St Peter Church, Water Church, Old Town, Bahnhof Street, Fraumunster, Opera Hall, Swiss National Museum. Boat tour on Zurich Lake.
Day 4 –Zurich/Lucerne/Interlaken
Bus journey to Lucerne. Visit the Chapel Bridge, Mill Bridge, Old Town, Lion Memorial, Swiss Transportation Museum, Jesuiten Church, Hof Church, City Wall. Bus journey to Interlaken.
Day 5 – Interlaken/Bern
City tour and sightseeing include the Old Town, Castle of Interlaken, Oberhofen Castle, Schadau Castle and Thun Castle. Bus journey to Bern, the capital of Switzerland. City tour and sightseeing include the Houses of Parliament, Bern Cathedral, Einstein House, City Fountain, Clock Tower, Historical Museum.
Day 6 – Bern/Gruyeres/Montreux/Lausanne
Drive to visit Gruyeres Castle. Then drive to visit Castle Chillon at Montreux. Bus journey to Lausanne.
Day 7 – Lausanne/Geneva
Lausanne is the head quarter of the International Olympic Committee. City tour and sightseeing include Cathedral Notre-Dame, St-Marie Castle, Olympic Museum, Old City, Library and Museum, Rolex Learning Center. Bus journey to Geneva.
Day 8- Geneva
Geneva is famous for many international organizations and conferences. Full day city tour and sightseeing include the Cathedral of St Pierre, Evangelical Lutheran Church of Geneva, United Methodist Church of Geneva, Geneva Presbyterian Church, National Palace, Flower Clock, Old Town, Water Jet. Boat tour on Geneva lake. Shopping for souvenir and gift before leaving this beautiful country.
Day 9 – Geneva/O'Hare International Airport
Fly by connection flight to Chicago (ORD), where you will arrive on the same day.
