Merry & Bright - Lighting the Tree in the Village of Bartlett 
This year's Merry & Bright Tree Lighting starts with a STROLL!
Saturday, December 6, 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Bartlett Park, Oak Avenue & North Avenue
 
4:30 p.m. - Everyone is invited to assemble in the METRA lot on Oneida & Eastern for a “Stroll to the North Pole,” which will step off at 4:45 p.m.
5 p.m. - Santa and “strollers” will arrive at Bartlett Park, where Santa will go up in the bucket truck to light the tree first thing. 
5 to 6 p.m. - Enjoy carols and music from the South Elgin High School choir and a DJ.
5 to 7 p.m. - Meet and greet Wicked’s Glinda & Elphaba, as well as Jack Skellington & Sally from the Nightmare Before Christmas.
5:20 to 7:20 p.m. - Take a ride in the horse-drawn wagon or stop by one of the food trucks for a bite to eat.
5:30 to 7:30 p.m. - After Santa lights the tree, he will head to the Log Cabin to see children and hear their special wishes. Bring your camera to take photos of your little ones. Also, help the Lions help those less fortunate by bringing a non-perishable food item for the Hanover Township Food Pantry.
6 to 6:30 p.m. - Test your knowledge during Holiday Trivia hosted by Friends of the Library
6:30 p.m. - Come to the gazebo for a special storytime with Bartlett Public Library staff
